# The Beauty of Helping Hands

In the city, you often feel lonely amidst the crowd. Here, in the mountains, you know you can rely on someone. There’s something primal, something real about living in harmony with nature and the people around you. Everyone knows their place and capabilities, but most importantly, everyone is ready to lend a hand when needed.

The mountains teach simplicity, humility, and how important those small, everyday moments are that shape our lives.

The wall by our small mountain church was damaged by the recent flood. Instead of waiting for outside help, the villagers spontaneously decided to fix it. Without grand plans or formalities – they just took up their tools and got to work.

When the mountains are your home, you learn that no one is left alone.

Every gesture of help has tremendous value.

The Beauty of Helping Hands

I saw Fantasia again today, this time on a walk through the fog. There she was, standing in the field, gently swaying her head. The sight of her emerging from the thick, milky mist felt like something out of a fairytale. I was happy to see her, but at the same time, a wave of sadness washed over me. This time, she was tethered by a chain.

Even as I write this, something inside me rebels against the idea. Should animals really be kept on a leash like that? Such a beautiful, free-spirited creature deserves freedom, not confinement. Of course, I had apples for her—like always. But even those sweet gifts can’t make up for the loss of freedom.

Chained Beauty in the Mist

Stepping out of the house this morning, I didn't expect to see a horse behind my fence. My first thought? Someone must have dropped her off.

As it turns out, she’s a beautiful mare named Fantasia, who had escaped from her owner’s field. She made herself right at home, eating five of my apples and drinking four buckets of water. Friendly, charming, and absolutely wonderful. I think I might have fallen in love with this gentle horse!

Maybe I should put up a sign on my fence: _No horse parking allowed! :)_

Life out here in the mountains, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, never ceases to surprise me. Every day, a new adventure.

No Horse Parking! :)

It's been raining non-stop for five days in Poland, and the situation is turning serious with floods in several areas. Diego is patiently waiting for the storms to pass, but the downpour shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. The constant rain has created challenging conditions for everyone.

#### Morning Walk in the Fog.

#### These walks are a reminder of the beauty in the stillness, a chance to slow down and simply be. In the fog, everything feels a little softer, a little quieter, and in that quiet, I find a kind of peace that is rare and precious. It’s a moment to breathe deeply, to feel alive, and to remember why I chose this place to call home.

#### The fog wraps itself around the trees, turning them into silhouettes, their forms only hinted at in the distance. The silence is profound, broken only by the occasional rustling of leaves or the distant call of a bird.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a Mikromusic concert at Schronisko Orzeł, a cozy mountain shelter nestled in the heart of the Polish Sudetes. The intimate setting of the venue, with its wooden interiors and warm atmosphere, provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable musical experience.

> “Waga ciężka wśród obiektywów.”

Pierwsze co rzuca się w oczy, a raczej w ręce to waga tego niezwykłego obiektywu. Szok, jaki on jest ciężki! Kawał żelastwa. Ciężki, ale solidny!

Czuć, że trzymasz. Nie dla wszystkich jednak będzie to komfortowe. Praca na tym obiektywie daje się we znaki już po 15 minutach.

> “Ta głębia!”

Mega jasny. Plastyka od razu przypadła mi do gustu. Jest to obiektyw manualny ,więc trzeba kręcić i być uważnym jeśli fotografujesz na pełnej dziurze. Łatwo przestrzelić. Jest to pewne, że nie zawsze zrobisz ostre zdjęcie-szczególnie na małej przesłonie. Ostrzy dopiero od 70 cm co jest denerwujące, ale da się przyzwyczaić.

> “Pobudza. Sprawi , że będziesz lepszym fotografem.”

Praca na manualnym focus sprawia, ze nie strzelasz zdjęć jak z karabinu maszynowego. Robienie fot na tym obiektywie uczy cierpliwości.

I warto się nie spieszyć. Myśl. Czekaj. Strzelaj. Efekt będzie powalający.

> “Mam go dopiero od wczoraj a już się polubiliśmy. ”

Jest w nim jakaś magia i czar. Zdjęcia mają unikatowy charakter i vibe, bliski klasycznym fotografiom ze średniego formatu.

Jedyny minus to pierścień przesłony, który jest jako pierwszy - zawsze mamy tam pierścień ostrości - więc czasem zmieniałem niechcący przesłonę. Dlatego przydałby się lock na przesłonę, aż dziwne, że producent tego nie dał.

Doskonały obiektyw w doskonałej cenie. (Jeśli zamierzasz wejść w świat średniego formatu to przygotuj się na odchudzanie portfela :)

Dla mnie akurat atutem jest ręczne ustawianie ostrości. Lubię. Całe życie ostrzyłem na kamerach filmowych ręcznie więc to moje naturalne środowisko. Praca na nim to czysta przyjemność. Spokojna bez pośpiechu. Jako że bliżej mi do artysty niż technicznego geeka więcej info technicznych:
